I noticed the fiber cable is still on top of my yard after my service has been installed. When will it get buried?

The burying of your fiber cable can take up to 7-10 days after your installation. This is to ensure a proper locate is called in and marked by the city to avoid any damage to existing ground facilities or utilities when the cable is buried. It’s recommended that you point out or identify any other underground features for the bury team to avoid, like a sprinkler system.

Please note: Due to potential winter weather conditions for cities in our northern markets, cable burial may not take place between the months of December and March, or until weather allows.
