Troubleshooting & managing your network
How do I troubleshoot issues with my Nokia ONT XS-2426X-A router?
Various factors can influence your router’s performance. Use the following troubleshooting topics and steps to fix common issues with your router.
I can’t connect to the internet.
- Check your power cable and connections. Sometimes loose, disconnected, or damaged cables can cause connection issues. Make sure that your power cable is securely connected to your router and plugged into a power outlet.
- Check that the lights for Power, PON, Internet, and WLAN are on and showing solid green. If the lights are off, verify that the power supply is connected to the router and that the On/Off button is pressed in.
- Check the status of the PON light. If it’s red or off, further assistance is required. Contact us via chat and we’ll help you out.
- Check the status of the WLAN light. If it’s off, press and release its button on the rear of the router. If the light doesn’t turn on, further assistance is required. Contact us via chat and we’ll help you out.
- If you’re still having issues with your connectivity, check the status of your internet in the Nokia WiFi app. Don't have the app? Download for Android or download for iOS.
- Open the app on your phone and check your internet status in the Network section at the bottom of the screen. If your network is online, you’ll see a green dot next to the internet icon.
